Halloween is a very fun time of year, but it is definitely a busy one for me. My work hosts Spooktacular each year. More on that later, but for now, this is my list of things to do before Halloween next week.

What's In Yours?
I've been seeing a lot of "What's In Yours?" posts around my blog-o-sphere lately, and it looked kind of fun, so I decided to give it a shot. Here we go...
First up on the left is my planner. I know what you're thinking, I see a phone over there, why do you need a planner? The short answer is: I don't. The long answer is: I've been using a planner for years, and I just like to write things down. Even if I put it in my phone too, a little OCD part of me, needs me to physically put it on paper.
Next up is a pair of headphones in case I decide to hit the gym. More often than not, they stay in my bag. I've got a tube of Burt's Bees because I can't go anywhere without it. An extra eyeliner, a hair comb, and a compact come next, just in case I need a little touch-up. I've also got a hair band and some bobby pins for a bad hair day.
There's a pair of cheap Walmart sunglasses. They get jostled around a lot, so I just can't keep good ones around for very long. Speaking of cheap, there is an air force services sewing kit in there. I stole it from my father-in-law. Don't worry, he won't mind.
I've got four pens and a pencil in there. One is red, for work stuff, and the rest...I can't explain. I'm a pen hoarder. Usually though, I can't find one in my bag. They like to hide deep down in there.
That lotion in there is Watermelon Tease from Victoria's Secret. It was my favorite about 5 years ago, and I recently found it in the storage shed. I decided to give it another try.
The Wednesday Letters, the current book I'm reading. I found it at Seagull for $1.99 and just had to buy it. I can't turn down a good deal. So far it's pretty good. Keep your eyes open for a book review in a few posts.
And then there are the usuals, my plain snap wallet, my keys, and my pretty phone, Stella.
That's what's in my bag! What's in yours?

I have a new addiction. Instagram. It's very very trendy, but I love it very very much. Here are a few goodies.
This was my first iphone picture. This is my go to photo pose.
The adorable UP house! The inside was exactly the same too!
Just a little lawn character
Yeah, we're cool.
Little Hemoglobin and I at the Red Cross
My new recipe box! I love it!
Look at that incredible view right outside the rink.
Haha! Best "In Bed" fortune cookie ever!
Ok, now that you love it too, go download it. I need more followers on there!

Week 20
This list could have been way longer, but I'm committed to doing it this way, and I didn't want to work much harder. Nevertheless, these are some things that I love!

Witches Night Out
I am so glad that my husband has friends with such great wives! I really like these girls, and I have a great time with them no matter what we do. Last night we went to Witches Night Out at Gardner Village. It was CRAZY! There were so! many! witches! It was cool to look around and see all of the cute stuff for sale, but it was a little difficult in such a crowd. Nevertheless, we looked great!
A little blurry...but I love these girls!
Oops! Marisa is having a little wardrobe malfunction!
Check out that good lookin' witch!

Nerd 101
Last Saturday, I woke up to find the one and only bathroom in our house being remodeled. I took this opportunity to call my grandma and borrow her shower. It was good to be able to hang out with her, my dad, and a few of my aunts that morning. I was going through some of my storage boxes in the garage and found all of my old journals. They range from 4th grade until 12th grade. I have spent the last few days reading them, and can I just say. NERD! The things I was worried about were so trivial.
This boy looked at me yesterday, but ignored me today. OH NO!
My dad wouldn't let me go to Lagoon today, even though I've gone every day this week. OH NO!
I didn't get invited to so and so's sleepover. OH NO!
I found a conversation I had with a boy where he told me that he liked another girl 95% and me 5% but that I should still keep liking him in case it doesn't work out with her. I was thrilled! I'm so glad I've matured into a woman who would never accept being treated that way.
One strong theme throughout my journals was friends. I loved my friends more than anyone else. I loved them when we were having great times, and I loved them when things were a bit rocky. I'm so glad I've had this group of friends with me for so long. Lately, I haven't been as close with them as I would like to be. I find myself getting together to hang out with them, and wondering when the last time I actually talked to them was. I don't want it to be this way. I want to know the details of their lives, not just the big stuff. Our group has expanded, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it. I love our new additions.
I've been in this married bubble. I love my husband and I want to spend every minute I can with him. It makes it hard to make time for my friends. Last night, he came and hung out with us. It was really nice to see him interacting with them in a fun, playful way. I'm going to make myself more available to be with my friends. They are important to me, and I don't want to lose them.

Little Miss Domestic
I spent a portion of my evening making some cookies from a box from scratch. So of course I tasted the dough. Something very strange happened. After tasting it, I knew what ingredient I needed to add to make it better. Am I actually becoming a woman? This is a quality that moms and bakers have. I am neither. What the?!
That isn't all I've been up to. I spent part of the weekend crafting with Kurt's sisters. I made these gems.
Week 18
Ok so once again, I'm late at posting. I think instead of feeling bad, I'm going to say that these lists are now posted on MONDAYS! If by chance I do it on Sunday, be happy... That's all I have to say.
